When arriving at the airport there are two bus options for transport to the hotel. Both drive quite directly from the airport to the city center. You will find both of these bus stops situated in front of the terminals.
· Finnair City Bus
This bus transport runs from the airport approximately every 20 minutes and the trip to the city centre is approximately 30 minutes. The cost of a one way trip is 6,20€

· Bus 615 to Helsinki city centre runs from the airport approximately every 15 minutes and the trip to the city centre takes approximately 35 minutes and it costs 4€
A timetable can be found at the following site: http://aikataulut.hsl.fi/linjat/en/s615.html
Please note that Lentoasema = airport and Rautatientori = Central Railway Station square.
And more information on Helsinki city public transport here: http://www.hsl.fi/EN/Pages/default.aspx
For your convenience of travel within Helsinki, we will provide a Helsinki city public transportation travel card for the duration of your stay. The travel card is valid in all of the different public transportation vehicles in Helsinki including buses and trams that will take you from the hotel to the meeting venues. These travel cards will be available to pick up at the hotel.
Return transportation to the airport in groups can be arranged from FIMM on September 30th, and we will collect your departing flight information at the beginning of the meeting on September 29th.
Accommodation (for out of town attendees):
A room will be reserved for you at the Sokos Hotel Presidentti (Eteläinen Rautatiekatu 4). Presidentti is situated very conveniently in the heart of Helsinki and the connection to all the venues of the meeting is very good. http://www.sokoshotelpresidentti.fi/
Attached is a map of the city center. The hotel, FIMM, Allergiatalo, and Kiasma have been marked on the map.
On the morning of the 29th, a group of students from FIMM will be available to meet you in the hotel lobby at 8.00/8.15 and guide you via public transport (Tram #4) to the Allergiatalo meeting site. You are welcome to travel with this group, or on your own to the meeting venue.
Meeting presentations:
By September 2nd, those who submitted abstracts will be notified of their presentation format – oral or poster.
Please be aware that the poster panels are portrait style, 95 cm (length) x 160 cm (height) in size, and we ask that your poster fit to this size. Pins will be provided.
