Professor Olli Kallioniemi receives the 2008 IFCC-Abbott Molecular Diagnostics Award

Professor Olli Kallioniemi has been selected to receive the 2008 International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) Abbott Molecular Diagnostics Award for Significant Contributions to Molecular Diagnostics.
This award has been created to honour an individual who has unique contributions to the promotion and understanding of Molecular Biology and its application in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine throughout the world.
The Award will be delivered at the 20th International Congress of the Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, Sept 29, in Fortaleza, Brasil.
