FIMM participation in EU infrastructure projects
FIMM is involved in three different European-wide efforts to develop globally competitive life-science infrastructures for Europe. These so-called European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) projects will be based on national investments creating a pan-European collaborative infrastructure for research.
FIMM participation in EU FP7 Research Projects
FIMM is currently involved in two EU FP7 Research Projects. Several others are in an active build-up phase by FIMM researchers.
FIMM participation in national projects
- Center of Excellence in Translational Genome-Scale Biology
- Center of Excellence in Complex Disease Genetics
- Biocenter Finland and FIMM a collaborates for developing national infrastructures for research. Development of innovations and industrial collaborations will be a key aspect for future FIMM activities, which could be developed forward as part of the national plans to coordinate Strategic Centre for Health and Well-being (SHOK).
