National Network for Molecular Medicine

FIMM has formed a National Network for Molecular Medicine composed of 15 top quality molecular medicine experts in Finland. Members for the molecular medicine network were selected from an open call by a Search Committee chaired by the EMBL Director General, Professor Iain Mattaj.

FIMM offers specific translational research grants for the members of the network meant to foster collaborations with FIMM and the development of translational studies, such as proof-of concept diagnostic and therapeutic projects. These projects should be non-overlapping with existing research projects. The network meets 2-3 times a year. The first Network meeting was arranged in September 2008.
