Plate naming

Make sure that the plate name, sample concentration and date information is clearly marked on the front side of the plate (photo example). Plate name should be the same as in the form FIMM basic information of samples.

Shipping of samples

Whenever possible, please avoid shipping on Thursdays and Fridays to avoid the samples arriving over the weekend.

Frozen samples

The frozen plates should be placed in the shipping container so that there is enough dry ice/blocks to keep the samples frozen during shipment and any delays that may occur with the courier.

Samples in room temperature

Pack the samples so that the plates or seals are not damaged during shipment. Make sure to protect the foils from punches. If you stack multiple plates put e.g. cardboard or wadding layer between the plates.
