siRNA screening
Aiming at providing the best available RNAi technology with maximum flexibility, we provide siRNA screening in several different formats. Depending on the amount of siRNAs to be screened, we offer cell spot microarray siRNA screens or plate-based screens.
Cell spot microarray technology is a high throughput, high content, genome-scale RNAi screening analysis on a cell spot array platform. FIMM develops this technology together with the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, VTT, and other collaborators, such as the Biocenter Finland.
It is usually more feasible to perform plate-based siRNA screens, when using small targeted siRNA libraries or subsets of genome-scale libraries. Plate–based screens can be made on 96-, 384- or 1536-well plates.
We support both plate reader assays and high-content microscopy.
