Finances

The budget of FIMM was 16.4 M€, with more than 60 % arising from external competitive grants. As compared to other independent institutes, as well as the University of Helsinki in general, FIMM receives a very high fraction of external funding from Tekes and from the EU, with industrial funding also increasing in line with its societal impact.
