Johan Lundin
Johan Lundin, M.D., Ph.D., is Research Director at FIMM and Guest Professor in Medical Technology at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm. Johan Lundin is also Associate Professor in Biomedical Informatics, University of Helsinki. Johan Lundin received his M.D. in 1990 and his Ph.D. in 1996 and was resident at the Department of Health, City of Helsinki, and at the Department of Ophthalmology, Helsinki University Central Hospital. His overall research aims are to fully utilize development within information and communication technologies (ICT) for improvement of diagnostics and care of the individual patient.
As a Research Director at FIMM Dr. Lundin coordinates translational research projects and collaborations with all FIMM partner organizations, other national collaborators and international networks, including academia and industry. Translational research and personalized medicine are key areas at FIMM and the Research Director therefore participates in most key activities at the entire institute.
