FIMM researches participated in the final meeting of the ACTION consortium
The final meeting of the ACTION consortium (Aggression in Children: unraveling the gene-environment interplay in aggression to inform treatment and intervention strategies) took place May 6-8, 2019 in Sardinia, Italy. The 11 collaborative partners met to share and disseminate their findings over the last 5 years of the EU 7th programme funding.
FIMM researchers Jaakko Kaprio, Tellervo Korhonen, Eero Vuoksimaa, Alyce Whipp, Kauko Heikkilä, and Sailalitha Bollepolli representing the FinnTwin12 cohort participated in the meeting.
Guest attendees from the FinnTwin12 cohort included keynote speaker Prof Emerita Lea Pulkkinen and Prof Emeritus Richard Rose. Consortium projects included genome-wide association meta-analyses, epigenome-wide association studies, metabolomic/biomarker studies, as well as phenotype and subtype analyses to inform the other analyses.
