Arjan van Adrichem was awarded the best poster honor in the Nordic Chemical Biology Meeting in May 2015 and the best oral presentation at the FinMedChem meeting in August 2015. 

Anna Cichonska was awarded travel grants from the Helsinki Doctoral Programme in Computer Science (Hecse) for the 9th Annual International Conference on Research in Computational Molecular Biology in Warsaw, Poland in April 2015 and for the 24th International Genetic Epidemiology Society IGES and 65th American Society of Human Genetics ASHG Annual Meetings in Baltimore, USA in October 2015

Meri Kaustio was awarded the Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation grant for Young Scientists in November 2015.

Jarno Kivioja was awarded a grant from Emil Aaltonen Foundation in June 2015 and and ILS travel grant in September 2015.

Ashwini Kumar was awarded a grant from the Univeristy of Helsinki Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences for travel grant to the Summer School on Modern Methods in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Treviso, Italy in June 2015. 

Mikko Muona was awarded the Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation grant for Young Scientists in November 2015 and the Young Investigator Award of The Finnish Society of Medical Genetics, February 2015 and Best Poster Awards at the Nordic Trial Alliance Meeting, April 2015, Helsinki and the Genomics of Rare Disease conference, April 2015, Hinxton, UK

Vesa Rahkama was awarded a travel grant from the Gordon Research Conferences for an oral presentation in the Hormone-Dependent Cancers Conference (Newry, Maine, USA), August 2015

Luca Trotta was awarded the "Reviewer's choice abstract" for the top presented posters and was selected for the "poster walk" at the American Society for Human Genetics Annual Meeting, October 2015.
