Single cell gene expression and Single cell full-length paired V(D)J transcript profiling workflows require a suspension of viable single cells as an input. Also analysis of cryopreserved cells is possible enabling sample delivery from outside of Helsinki area. Minimizing the presence of cellular aggregates, dead cells, non-cellular nucleic acids and potential inhibitors of reverse transcription is critical to obtaining high quality data.

Case example: University of Helsinki price for one Chromium 3’ RNA sequencing prep with 1000 cells and 50 000 reads per cell sequencing depth is approximately 2120 €. This includes Chromium Single Cell 3’ Library prep 1604 € and sequencing cost 516 €.

Single cell transcriptomic analysis is done on multi-well format using miniaturized Smart-seq2/4 protocols and Echo 525 -acoustic dispenser. Lysis buffer dispensation on multi-well plates is available for customers for cell capture and cell lysis.
